Chainsaw engine overhaul how-to

There's a video series I just discovered that shows how to rebuild/re-assemble a modern chainsaw engine, from beginning to end:

There is a series of vids, this vid (linked above) being the first in the series.  The others in that series show up as clickable options on the right of your screen.

This is an in-depth how-to.  Very educational, very useful.

Re: Chainsaw engine overhaul how-to

I have grown up around this stuff my whole life, my father taught my brother and I a lot about small engines. We are what you call shade tree mechanics, most of our work is done outside under a good shade tree. He has made a living from it his whole life, when i was younger he opened up a shop full time. I am no where near as good as my father, but we do stuff like this all the time. And make a decent side income, it also keeps us from callin another mechanic.

Thanks for posting this.  This is something I need to learn.

Only when you have felled the last tree, caught the last fish and polluted the last river, will you realize that you can’t eat money.
