Oodles of free sewing patterns

http://thinkliz.com/free-sewing-patterns/

I am going to make some of these...
http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/draw … n-required
I have a ton of scrap fabric I either need to make in to stuff or trash. Time to stop storing it!

I wear jumpers with a t-shirt and leggings or a leotard and leggings. In winter, a turtleneck and leggings. Easy peasy!

Re: Oodles of free sewing patterns

I stick with super easy stuff. My attention span is too short for more involved projects big_smile

Re: Oodles of free sewing patterns

Thank you so much for posting this.  I just got my moms sewing machine and now I want to sew.

Re: Oodles of free sewing patterns

Oooos Thank Wifezilla! I bought two sewing machines yesterday for 40 bucks! She was just "tired of sewing and letting them sit around". One's a kenmore the other is a singer. She also threw in all of her sewing stuffs. I want to make a new apron.

I wanna learn something new everyday.

Those are great sites. They even have patterns for making your own underwear!!!
I wish I had more time and energy, so I could do all the stuff I want to do tongue lol

Re: Oodles of free sewing patterns

Thanks!  So much fabric stored away from when I worked in a fabric store during college... time to do something with it all!

Re: Oodles of free sewing patterns

I refuse to let you guys talk me into sewing too, canning is bad enough. Though I did just buy a tube of liquid stitch for hemming up my curtains to fit the new windows.

Re: Oodles of free sewing patterns

Try a small area first, xpc.  You might prefer the iron-on tape called "Stitch Witchery" or something like that over the liquid stuff.  It gives a nice flat hem result.  Either way, don't plan on putting those curtains into the washer and dryer, ever, unless you learn to sew.

Think of the sewing machine as a precision power tool.... big_smile
