Sufficient Self's Bible Study Group

Howdy there fellow SS'ers. With the permission of Nifty we are going to start a Bible Study group. This is a positive group of people, we are not going to hurt others. We're going to be kind. No bashing people or other religions, please leave the flame throwers in the closet. I want this to be a good thing for all who participate. Lets be respectful to all.

Re: Sufficient Self's Bible Study Group

Would it not be appropriate to begin with the birth of Christ since we are at that special time of year?

That is bound to be a positive theme as well.

Re: Sufficient Self's Bible Study Group

Sounds like fun!  Count me in.  Should we start with a topic or a particular chapter?

To me a topic would be best. The Christmas story sounds like a good place to start. I have the King James Version with me now. Do we want to use a modern english version or stick with KJV?

Luke 2:1-14

Now Im not sure how all of this will work out but we can take turns picking scripture or I can. I just hope this is sucessful!!

The Christmas story is so beautifully worded in the old version, don't you think?

Re: Sufficient Self's Bible Study Group

I think we should be open to all versions of the bible because some people may only have a different version and we don't want to leave anyone out.
