Hey guys, its been awhile since I've been on. but I got watermelons, sweet corn, crowder peas, and snap beans planed today.....I planted purple, blue potatoes in boxes and regular and baking russets, Yukon gold and new red potatoes have been in the ground for 2 weeks and have just broke ground...

ok trying to plant taters in half of a 55 gallon drum....and a friend has pigs on a slab that I can dig behind his pen......so how much uncomposted manure do I need to ad to the drum? 2-3 shovel fulls????I know I dont wanna fill the drum up.
I wish the two hives I got out of a house last summer would produce some honey and wax, then I would have a need for this unit.
Is there really that much differnce in wax production from TBH and Lang boxes?

History: I have two hives I started last year they never really got strong enough for a second brood chamber, though they sustained themselves. this year I started checking on them in January when the weather was warm andhave had larva capped brood in the hives. about two weeks ago I found one...
