We had a rat that was destined to be snake food, but my daughter got attached and she became a pet. We eventually got into raising them for the snake and it was pretty easy and cheap. I feed my dogs a good dry food now with no corn, wheat or soy. Very happy with it but Im thinking if the SHTF...
Ive been thinking about what Im gonna do when or if I can no longer buy dog food. I started thinking about raising meat rabbits for them. I was hoping to feed them raw, since ive heard feeding raw is what nature intended for them. My dogs weigh around 20 pounds for one, and about 30 pounds for...
DS wet the bed until 7th grade. He was also a very heavy sleeper. He wore pull ups, which luckly still fit at that age. He just stopped one night. And has been dry ever since. Hes 16 now so hes been dry for years.
Are you sure they are head lice and not bedbugs? Bedbugs are becoming a serious problem. And if the house is always filthy, they have tons of places to hide.

Honestly, I would stick with the sexed pullets from the feed store. Yes, the straight run chicks at a dollar apiece sounds great, but what happens when you spend $10 and get mostly roosters? I would go for 5 or so sexed pullets from the feed store, and have a pretty good bet they are pullets...
We are a very pro gun family. Our 16 year old son just placed second in his very first IDPA match last month. My husband has always preached gun safety. I am the only one not comfortable with a gun, yet. Our daughter is the hunter of the group. Much better with a long gun than a pistol.
DH and I are looking for some land. We have looked at a few pieces that had neighbors we would have loved to have, and pieces we didnt even make an offer on because of the neighbors. Im all for the barter system. Kinda like you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. But dont ask for a free handout...
