I know it sounds bunk but it really does work! i found the recipe on frugallysustainable.com

1 1/2 cups peroxide
1/2 cup vinegar or lemon juice
Purified water to fill

you put it in a gallon jug ( i repurposed a used vinegar jug) and top it off with water. color safe and great as a pretreater. we have sensitive skin so this is way better than traditional. and its easier on sensitive noses lol

I would think you have to use it pretty fast- peroxide is very unstable. But I've used all of those ingredients at one time or another to bleach my laundry- just never tried to use all of them together.

Lemon juice and sunlight works for some things as well. Peroxide is used to bleach a lot of things commercially

This is a great recipe! I've always wanted to make my own bleach. The ones they are selling in the supermarket is just too strong. I can't stand the smell.

@ChickenMomma91 Congrats on the baby! I'm sure this homemade bleach won't irritate a baby's skin.
