Okay, let's start anew! It's sunshine, wind of course, warm so no snow here. Frost got most of my peach blossoms (that's typical), but one tree blooms late so there's still hope! I'm sorting out some storage boxes, getting the donation pile stacked - all things considered, it's a great day! How 'bout you?

Is anyone schooling today? We schooled through the summer and we are taking time off until our Papa retires at the end of October. We will start our school year with two teachers!!!!!!! Woo hoo, I am excited about having my husband teaching our last two (of 8) students. We are arranging the downstairs to have 2 separate work spaces, one for each child. I am getting excited.

Please drop a note and let the rest of us know what you are excited about this year in your home school.

We had a light lesson load today. To many things around here drawing our attention.Hubby brought home an orphan squirrel Friday for DS to care for. He is very excited and distracted. Trying to do school work with a critter on the table is hard.

Ohhhhh! We raised 2 baby squirrels years ago. Named them Chip and Dale. We had to let them go when they were about half grown because they got into such mischief! We took them to our friend's house who had pecan trees and loved squirrels. That was a fun time.

I have lots of grades to turn in with the youngest, so playing catch up....and hopefully pass up. If I can do this everyday for a while, we will be on a good roll. The 11 year old saw that we were hard at it and asked me,"Momma, can you work with me now"...then the darn phone rang, but its not too late for us to do a few things. We have to help a few close relatives when they in a jam, but really want to start feeling like a success about now. So determined to shine.
