Thanks everyone! I'm excited! I'll be driving again, but I'll only be on the road for a couple days at a time, so I'll still be able to have a life!

I got a library card the other day and checked out a few books. I've already read most of the top left one (great book!) and, after skimming through the bottom right book, I think I'm going to skip it...besides, I can't wait to get to "Worms Eat My Garbage", a book about vermicomposting. I've heard that Paradise Lot is a great book too. It's a couple of guys who are kinda urban homesteaders like I'd like to do.

Congrats on the job!

John Seymour's "Complete Guide to Self-Sufficiency" is a wonderful read that will give you lots of ideas too. I believe they've reprinted the book not long ago and "modernised" it a little.

Congrats on the job. And these books sound interesting. I ever get spare time, I just might have to check them out.
