We built this awesome greenhouse with us and other people like us in mind. If you have a little knowledge of building things with your hands you can do this also.

We put it on skids. You know how it is when you are starting your homestead and your building pens, shacks, sheds, barns, fences, etc. and the day comes where you say only if I would of put it over there instead of here. Well this design can be moved every growing season if you like. Put it in the sun in the winter and then drag it to the shade in the summer.

We built it on our goose neck trailer because it provides a flat surface for us to work on and if a customer orders one its ready for transport.

You can also see how we did the shelves, automatic window opener and our door latch.

This design can be used for other things like a chicken tractor, animal shelter, temporary shed, etc.

Hope yall enjoy it.

That is really clever! If only I could talk DH into something like that; but he's dead-set against a greenhouse made with plastic film. He wants one using real glass or at least fiberglass panels.

Thanx. Big thing about this design is its portable. Sunny spot in the winter and shady in the summer plus when having a homestead you build sheds, shacks, pens, barns, etc. and then say wish I woulda built that over there. Well this design lets you do just that. I think the real glass is nice if you can re-purpose some windows, but buying new glass is way to expensive. I'm totally against the corrugated fiberglass panels. They will turn yellow and dry rot unless something has changed about their material they are made out of that I dont know about. All of this though is just my opinion.

Cattle panels! Exactly what i was gonna use. Now the skids I really love. Great way to get around a zoning issue. Nice job.

We enjoy ours a lot. The skids make it so easy to move when need be. If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are actually trying to get ours cleaned out and ready for late spring / early summer and late fall seedlings.

For my little growhouse in Wyoming, I used a woven poly fabric. It was little - only 4 feet tall, 4 feet deep and 8 feet long but it served its purpose of extending my growing season. I would not have been able to grow vegetables at all without it; and I grew enough to share with the neighbor. It was 4 years old when we sold the house and moved away. It had some pin-holes in it from hail but it was still functional. My testimonial is that it survived Wyoming winters - wind gusts of up to 100 mph, cold temps down below -20. Your husband may approve of this stuff.
This is what I used:
