dad said ok to donating half on the full set up and ive found someone interested in taking the one with the cracked rim for the same price I paid for it meaning I onl have to find $25 and will have the full setup for mum to start allover again on lol.
should be going to pick it up tomorrow.

Momma might be coming home tomorrow too so yay on that front.
but it also means ive got a house to blitz because "tidy" isn't good enough for dad whos sudden "clean all the things until they smell of bleach" ocd seems to kick in whenever shes been away for a few days and is coming back...apparently "exactly how she left it" isn't good enough but ONLY in these situation...when shes home to do it he never lifts a finger...

anywho...
so...gotta get that done.
sis should be home from work soon and then we'll all pitch in...if we can get the majority done today while hes not here itll be easier tomorrow.
tomorrow ill go get the tank then in the afternoon make a run to pick up replacement supplies to try this whole thing again...
im pretty decided that im going to build the falls as a completely self contained unit this time...and see if that makes it easier.
I salvaged some of the pieces so im going to try and use them.

plans for this weekend and next week involve the tank and possibly getting the rabbitry rebuilt...hoping the gorund will be soft enough to get ome ground anchors in to hold the dang thing down.

and then another wrench...
apparently dad got word that some of the clot they left in mums leg has traveled to the lungs...at least as of right nowwe think they are travelers and not new clots...(she on blood thinners so should not be forming new clots)
seems they are small enough that they are going to leave them be and just keep her on thinner s they don't grow, but he wont know until he gets there and talks to the dr...

I want to know why hey didn't put a filter in when they did the surgery...that would have prevented the clots they left from traveling at all...

I have no clue what happening right now...

dads not eating...
im over eating...
GAH!

thanks, dads on his way home, late night for him...
shes got a cellulitis infection in her thigh so 2 different antibiotics being started for that...they've put her back on heprin and there talk of rehab facilities which is freeking her out more, she ust wants to come home....
but part of me is terrified that if she comes home ill miss something and shell have more setbacks...or worse...
im having a hard enough time keeping up with MY stuff, Plus the other chores....I don't know if I can take on that responsibility/worry too...

*takes breath*
If I can just keep to my routein, keep pushing through and get through this...I can fall apart later, when everythings back to normal...

Hang in there sis...seems like we're both dealing with a bunch of challenges right now so I can certainly sympathize with what you're going through. This will end... things will stabilize... and you're right.... we will fall apart later! No time right now to do anything else now but to keep on keepin' on!:hugs

thanks, dad had her on Skype this morning and he seems a little more chipper...

in good news her heart is great and they tested her for cancer too and that has come back completely clear.
and the infection in her thigh is aparenlty looking less angry today so the antibiotics do seem to be working.

well, some possibly good news, she reached therapudic levels last night and they have weaned her off the heprin and onto jut Coumadin today...
and the infection in the leg has responded well to antibiotics...
there is actually talk of her possibly mabe coming home tomorrow.
dads going to try and get a week of working form home to make sure we wont have any suprises this first week (im TERRIFIED of her coming home having a set back and me not being able to catch it in time or something)
so...
fingers crossed.
I think the possibly coming home news had her happy today a she was chipper on Skype this morning.
dads with her this afternoon and hopefully we should have a better idea by the time he gets home.
im personally jut toodling about a bit before doing some cleaning up...(the more I get done today the less hell freek out tomorrow lol)

we did go out this morning and pick up a fantastic facebook find freebie, a STUNNING solid cherry wood office beuro andbook case.
its designed so the bookcase sits ontop of the drawer unit, but...the piece is just as nice free standing.
the drawer unit is going to be in the livingroom for mums angelfish tank, once we get the tank dad is going to make a canopy to hide the plastic light equiptment and hell match it with stain and trim ot the dresser so the whole thing should look like it mean tot be 1 piece.
the book case dad was originaly going to put in his office...but its HUGE (6ft long by about 5ft tall!) so it may end up going in the dining room as buffet/display.

its missing a single knob on the center door...going to take the other off and take it with me next time I go to town and see if we can find something that matches, if not ill get a pair of something close...
its gorgeous, 22" deep, 6ft long, more than enough room for the tank AND space to put some nice decorative bits.
plus...lots of hidey sorage, the 2 bottom drawers are file drawers, and then the upper draws have fun little dividers (for supplies origionally)
theres shelves inside the front too :)

cant belive this thing was free, solid dovetail joints real wood...this was a vey expensive piece and beyond a few little dings its in great shape.

because I found him this dad has given me the go ahead on simply buying a new tank, its $150 for the tank, with EVERYHING we need (filter, heater ect) so hes putting in 1/3rd, bros putting in 1/3rd and im putting in 1/3rd...least I know a brand new tank is structurally sound :)

I might ACTUALLY have this pulled together in time for her birthday.
ive got a much better idea of how im doing the sand falls that will be much less involved/likely to go wrong...and I think im going to simplify the plan some...still inkeeping with th same idea but just not quite as large scale :)

so with that all said and done..im tired, but I need to do some tidying up so...of I go.

Wahoo on the furniture find! That's amazing! It boggles my mind some times what people will give away!
Yay on the tank, can't wait to see pictures!
Continuing to keep your mom in my thoughts and prayers, and you and the family as well!

thanks, shes home, shes doing ok, though is bored and thus driving us nutty...but least shes home and generally well.
leg swelling is still pretty bad, but that's going to just take time...she has multiple clots in the lungs (left behind from the original DVT that they didn't remove and didn't put a filter in to catch...) that are generaly being monitored but making life hard for her generally (essentially shes an asthmatic until they finally break up) her leg is generally sore, particularly the insicion in the groin but as an overall, shes doing good.

me...I think life is starting to hit...
mood is LOW...mostly because im in a lot of fibro pain right now, plus muscular spasms, AND yesterday we got another 4 inches of snow...welcome to april right?!
I managed to get the boy goats house cleaned out (the reason my back hurts) but then half killed myself getting the fresh strawbale up the hill in the snow...
thi mornings haul of about 10 gallon up the hill almost killed me (its hard enough when it NOT slippy) and I broke like 4 chicken eggs...it was definatly...a morning...
im just in a yuck place right now, itll pass...im sure...im still ot relaxed enough to completely fall apart lol...but this cold and snow is realy doing a number on my body...april 1st I should be able to at least get some garden stuff started and instead im surrounded by white crap.

im loking at the forecast though and were suppoed to hit 61 tomorrow and nice...hoping to get the girly goat stall cleaned out...Friday will be a wash out at 63 but thunderstorms, sat sun mon and tues are mid 50's so hoping to get the rabbitry built up and bunnies moved... because weds tems drop and bring moisture, thurs the moisture is slated to turn into snow and Friday freezing rain...
I cant do winter anymore...it needs to get a clue and give it up.

old folklore says the weather on the 4th day of the month fortells the rest...on the 4th weve got low 50's and 50% chance or rain...so col and overcast for the month of april...an apparently MORE SNOW :/

so much stuff I wanted to get done before now...and I couldn't becaue winter is having a problem relinquishing it hold.

I should clean my room today...should...
