essential oil sources?

Has anyone had experience ordering essential oils? Can you recommend a reliable source of quality oils? There are so many out there!
How do you tell which are good and which are mostly diluted junk? Thanks if you can help!

Sorry no one has responded yet....I order from Eden's Garden (edensgarden.com/). They are 100% pure therapeutic grade and very reasonable. Work just fine!

Essential oils are often complex mixtures of many oils, In the old days if they smelled right they were right.Now science can tell which oils and how much but the people that use the oils stick to the old methods and sell unknown oils for unknown purposes That highly diluted junk is meant for candles and soap makers there the high dilution is a good thing. If you need undiluted be prepared for price sticker shock. ~gd

I buy food grade, it's several times the cost of therapeutic grade. If it's not safe enough to eat, I don't think it should be absorbed through the skin.

I buy at a local store, so I can't help on where to find the stuff.

I use DoTerra, I love them - they are certified pure. PM if you have questions.

I also use doTerra, though it is worth noting that their Certified Pure Theraputic Grade has a TM after it, which means that they are self regulating. There is no industry standard for oils.
After having worked with several different brands, I prefer doTerra, mostly because that's what my animals prefer. They tell the truth in what feels best to them, and they kept going back to doTerra hands down. So that's what I use. I've been using essential oils with my animals and myself on a daily basis now for 6 years, and have taken several classes and shadowed people that use them in their holistic body work practice.
