Apple Pie Spice
2Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice alternative
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger

in a small bowl mix together all ingredients and store in an airtight jar. 1 1/2 tsp per 6 cups apples.

Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp ginger
4 tsp cinnamon

place in a jar and shake well

CAJUN/CREOLE SEASONING
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried thyme
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp white pepper (or use 2 tbsp black)
2 tbsp hot paprika
4 tbsp paprika
4-5 seasoning salt

Mix all ingredients in a glass jar.


COPYCAT LAWRY’S SEASONED SALT (and no MSG!)

2 tbsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground celery seed (or ¼ tsp celery salt)
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp cornstarch
Pinch of cinnamon

Enchilada seasoning
1 tsp each black pepper, cajun seasoning, sea salt, paprika, ground mustard and cumin

stir to combine in a small bowl or mortar and pestle (highly recommend ) and store in an airtight container. easily doubled

All I do to make fajitas is slice the meat really thinly, slice up some onions and bell peppers, then saute it all in a little oil with a fair amount of chili powder, some salt and pepper
