Woo hoo! (why did I not know you could grow almonds in texas?) What about pecans???? It's almost a Texas tradition!

Pecans can be grown in zones 5-9, so you should be good.

Sumi. What area are you in? The couple that owned this place before me had a huge area for compost and I have more than I can possibly use right now. He converted a leanto into a compost bin. Its probably 200 sq.ft.

@CJ1 I'd take you up on that in a heartbeat if I lived closer! Unfortunately I'm very far away from you all… I live in Ireland.

A wee bit? :) I would love to get hold of some homemade compost though… But for now I need to head down the hardware and go get some more compost there today. Some of my tubs need topping up. The potatoes are looking amazing :) I'm definitely going to plant a couple more.
