Going anywhere with the Wildbunch is a nightmare. Four boys between 7 and 14, whew! Forget about picking out clothes, I'm happy if they aren't fighting. They play fight, roughhouse fight and really fight from the time they roll out of bed in the a.m. The oldest son, now 28 only had sisters around his age so it's a whole new ballgame with the younger ones, lol. Speaking of ballgames I have two football games today in two different towns.

It has turned cool here and we still haven't got any wood yet. Can't even find a lighter to start a small fire to knock of the chill. We probably won't even have a frost until closer to Halloween if then. Have very few snow days here in Arkansas. Sometimes a day or two and of course it closes everything down because we're not use to it.

Well it didn't snow here but it did up on the mountain! Lol. Very windy today and I think it stayed around 45 but felt much colder.

My husband built basically a tripod with a rope and pulley for hanging the pig. He's going to be calling the guy tomorrow if he doesn't hear right away and telling him to hurry up and get his pig! We will slaughter pretty much right away (if we come up with a fridge) and get her in the freezer by next weekend. Except the bacon and pulled pork (we don't like ham) We'll be doing birds soon too, and once the big pigs are gone we have to move their fencing and winterize their house.

My husband is watching for rats with his. 22 right now while playing his guitar. Haha that's how we roll!

Rats make good target practice. I wish ours would get shot. They are as big as our chihuahua! We see them everywhere. Outside, inside the house, inside the chicken house. The chickens took care of one nest full of the babies though. The big ones all ran away.

Eek! My husband shot a huge one yesterday. He found a den and ripped it open and shot it as it ran away. Yes! Haha

Hey @baymule and @frustratedearthmother it's snowing! Snow showers, not accumulating but still...

It's actually cold enough to let the pig hang outside. But can't guarantee it'll stay that way so the search for a fridge continues! The guy is supposed to get his pig out of here tonight. My husband is going to have a flip out if he doesn't, lol. My husband is a red head... No one likes it when he gets mad! It has been 4 weeks today since we sold her....

Holy cow! And, we'll get in the high 80's - maybe even hit 90 if we're (un)lucky!

Hope that guy gets that pig tonight - don't wanna pi$$ off a red head for sure, lol!

We should know soon if he's coming! It's still spitting snow here and cold and windy. Supposed to get down to the low 20's tonight.

My parents are so awesome. They dropped off their dump trailer for us to load and they're going to pay for our construction waste to be dumped off tomorrow (we've torn apart some things in our house but haven't gotten rid of stuff yet). Then they're going to bring it back so we can load up our scrap metal. Big help in getting this yard cleaned up before real snow hits!

Gearing up to go out and start loading now. Brrr! I think it's about 40 now.

My daughter rather enjoyed the snow this afternoon! It gets dark in an hour and no sign of the pig dude... Gearing up to get angry!
