Starting this out, here.

Got the garlic in, finally, a couple of weeks later than my usual late planting time. The weather's been really mild, I think we are okay.

I refurbished the garlic beds - dug out the paths between them and placed that nice, organic-matter-rich material on top of the beds, added some coir from the container garden pots, and planted the cloves.

It's been really dry, but the mulch we use keeps a good bit of moisture in the ground. Got a light mulch of duck bedding on top before the rain came in yesterday.

That's the biggest news, really.

I love garlic. Onions, also....but, have never planted garlic -- coming soon, LOL. Plan to do some. Onions, I've planted and successfully. My son swears I put it in everything I cook and he's almost correct. :p I have a shaker of garlic powder next to my salt & pepper on the stove.

You say your weather is mild yet, where are you?
