The Ultimate Prepping?

Now, I would me remiss if I didn't give tips on the ultimate preparation for anyone's life and how to go about getting this accomplished.  With this prep maneuver, one will be prepared for any emergency or eventuality and it requires little on your part to find it.  As a matter of fact, someone has already paid for it and it is now a free service and is not based on income or have any other strictures or strings.

If you knew that someone was going to suffer for a very long time if they didn't know something, would you tell them?  If you knew of something they could obtain for free that would prevent them from suffering, would you tell them?  Yes?  Me too!

Here it is...it's simple, free, and last forever!  Salvation from death and a free ticket to eternal life.  Sounds too good to be true?  Does it sound like something only a simple-minded person would believe?  I'm sure there are many who think that believing in it would mean they weren't enlightened or intelligent or even savvy.

The fact remains that millions of people have believed down through the years and I believe it now, as do many millions just like me.  We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins to save us from eternal separation from God when we leave this mortal body and this Earth.  Those who believe and live for God and look to God for direction in their lives will pass from this Earth to live eternally in a heavenly realm with our Lord.  We will never more know sadness, sickness, fear or loneliness.  We won't have to struggle or feel pain anymore.  

Those who reject the Creator of this universe and the one true God, will spend the rest of eternity in Hell.  Yes, I believe it is real and it is not a big party for all sinners, where they can be as bad as they want to be and they can all hang out together.  You will be alone, you will be in darkness, you will be in pain, you will not be able to sleep, you will be forever thirsty and hungry and you will be scared.  It says this in the Bible and, if you believe any of it, believe all of it.  It's not just words, it is His LIVING word and it is meant as a guidebook for life. 

Do you believe there is a God and don't think He would ever condemn someone to a place like that?  Read His word, in which He describes in detail this place and why people will go there.  Do you believe that you can just " be good" and follow the Golden Rule, which are commandments given from God, by the way, and you will get to Heaven?  Nope.  No man cometh unto the Father except through the Son, those who believe on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.  Those who do not, of course...perish. 

Now, I don't mean to scare folks or make them feel bad....but I am interested in passing on a warning.  I can't imagine not knowing about this and someone not caring enough to tell me and I having to find out the hard way. 

Heaven, on the other hand, sounds like the perfect place to spend eternity!  Imagine getting to speak with and commune with God, live like God, be with God and in the most beautiful setting one could ever imagine...actually, I don't think anyone can imagine how wonderful it will be.  

Why worry about stocking up food, fuel, emergency supplies and ammunition for an apocalyptic event if you won't be here for the Apocalypse?  All things and all creatures on this Earth will pass away one day, did you know that?  There is only one preparation you can make for the biggest event in your life...your death.  Everyone is scared of it, everyone is trying like mad to prevent it and avoid it, living fast and hard before it gets here, etc.  What if you could live like it didn't matter?  I do and it is the most freeing feeling in the world.  Everyone's biggest fear and I don't have to fear it...how cool is that?

When you are saved from your sins, this means you are saved from death also.  You need no longer worry about dying or your soul being gone forever.  You can live with the joy of knowing that this life on Earth isn't the ultimate goal, that there is another life to be lived, an eternal life of immortality.  This place is only a testing ground, a train stop to your real life, a short song in the soundtrack of your life.  How wonderful is that?

What if I'm wrong?  Well, let's talk about that, though I have no doubts about the validity of this knowledge.  If I am wrong and we just die and are buried and that is all, then I guess I'm okay anyway, right?  If I am right, I am still okay...actually, more than okay, I am living an eternity of joy and beauty, of blessed day after blessed day of communion with God. 

So...when discussing self-sufficiency(there is none, it's a misnomer and a fallacy, we are all dependent on God) and making preparations for "when the SHTF" scenarios, please remember that those are all for nought.  The only way to prepare for living is to prepare for dying and the only way to prepare for that is to plan for eternal life.
