I've never did anything with mulberries and I don't think they are that tasty fresh. Are they better cooked?

It's a little sweeter with the added sugar in the pie but if you don't like mulberries you don't like mulberries

I can't say that I don't like them, I've just tasted other berries better. The mulberries don't seem to have a lot of flavor like some berries. I think they could be good in jelly or even pies with say some lemon zest, lemon juice and sugar.

It's that time of year! I have some rogue blackberries in the back yard and I picked a cup or so of them this afternoon and enjoyed them with some fresh goat cream and a tiny bit of sugar. Real sugar - some things just deserve the good stuff.
