Well I am getting low on hens. Bad a couple old hens die on me. Reasons unknown. And wouldn't ya know it, people keep showing up wanting hens. I figured I'd price them out of wanting mine but they bought them anyway.

So I'm about 10 hens down now. What to do except load the incubator with 85 eggs!

I didn' think it threw. I loaded it Sunday morning and by Sunday afternoon it had overshot to 102 degrees. Then I take temp in the shed and its 103. These hot days are too much. Maybe I should have built in a cooling feature on the incubator. My e I could use parts from a mini fridge or something. :D

Anyway luckily there's a window air conditioner in the shed. The highest setting it has is 86°f. 95 would have done the job. Just gotta keep the incubator under 100°f.
But for now all seems well. I'l know when I candle the eggs next week.

Got another video up. Evidently people aren't interested in Chickens from the views.

I can't really watch videos at home either :( unless they're like 30 seconds. And, a 30 second video might take me 2 minutes to watch...ugh.

I usually avoid video too, unless it's something I really want to watch. My broadband is too dang slow half the time to load them, so I get what bay does, start-stop.

Satellite internet shore ain’t cable internet!

And satellite TV? Just as the storm worsens and the weather man is telling where the tornado is (coming closer) the TV goes off. We don’t know if we need to run, hunker down in a windowless room or just kiss our ass goodbye.
