I take immunosuppressant meds for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I also have asthma. I have no plans on taking the vaccine. I'm not comfortable with the rush job that has been put on the vaccines to get them approved. In fact, no one in my family plans on taking it.

Zantac was just taken off the market because it can cause cancer. It's been out for years. What is this going to cause on down the line? I hope nothing.

This is something everyone must decide for themselves.

@henless , I have reactive airway disease. Have been taking my steroid inhaler most of the fall and winter, due to the extra stress on my resp. system when I must wear a mask or face shield. I'm at huge risk of respiratory illness, get sick for weeks or months with a common cold.... I consider the risk of the vaccine to be greater than risk of the virus.

Interesting you brought up Zantac. Myself - and many of my friends - were prescribed Zantac at 2 to 4 times the normal dose, every day. Theres fear over what may happen to the patient cohort.

I'm not feeling great about the rush. I'd like to see the standard testing completed, or some longer term data from the general population.

I think the vaccine is necessary and welcome. But those with chronic illnesses have good reason to protect their health from even "minor" risks - and we're used to staying home and social isolation! 🤣

DH plans to get vaccinated ASAP. He keeps checking what phase he is and vaccination progress. He will be in phase 1b or 1c. My kids are in phase 3. I would be in general public/unphased, so it will be a wait for me even if I wanted it right away.

DH will get it as soon as he's eligible. His mom too. I won't qualify for awhile. Might meet the age requirement but have no co-morbidities. At my age - how bad could "long term side effects" be? LOL!

Vegetarian, vegans, animal lovers, also beware that Horseshoe Crabs are exploited to manufacture the Covid vaccine, and other vaccines. Squalene in vaccines can be from shark liver, if not from another weaker source, but the most concentrated form of squalene on earth is from shark liver.

This is a late response to the discussion regarding covid immunization: I can only hope that everyone is ALLOWED to make their own decision. However... that remains to be seen. There has been a huge push towards forced immunization for other vaccines, as well as this one.

Not to mention the human cells... my congregation has given us information on which are acceptable for Christians, but stressed that it should be a personal choice.

On a related note, the environment is not only used but also affected by societies medication use.

This story has done the rounds a number of times during the last few years-

we found in very high levels, and also pharmaceuticals, some heart medications, and kidney and gout medications

And in the news today -

“Most people have experienced the expected side effects of the vaccine, such as nausea and vomiting, fever, local reactions at the injection site, and worsening of their underlying condition.”
