Here's my 9+ year old one-eyed vet rescue special barn cat. She spends quite a bit of time indoors in winter. She's a sweetie! A very good cuddler.

i see _Dune_ there. is it your first read?
No :D.
I have all the books that start with the timeline of the Dune novel and beyond. I am working through the pre-pre-sequels. Starting with the Butlerian Jihad, which I finished last night. I read the entire series in timeline sequence about 10 years ago. Thought it might be fun to revisit, and get me away from the computer games for a while.

Her Royal Highness Princess Pixie Poopsalot.
Our first rescue, is about 3. Acts like a dog and is smart!
Woke up this morning to discover one of them, most likely Pixie, had turned on the TV overnight. She evidently did it also last evening when the wife was prepping the turkey for the slow cooker

those books are so much different in writing style and characters i had to give up on reading them (but i almost made it through them all). i'm forever a fan of Dune and the books after it that Frank wrote - to me they were such a welcome read when i first came across them.
