Not great news today. The new liver isn’t working so well. It’s sputtering along but just barely.

She has been put back on the transplant list and will be re-transplanted as soon as a match is found.

GASP! Why? I didn't know that even with the extensive matching, that sometimes they fail. HUGS!

before she had no liver at all, now she has one sort of, that's a step up from none. i sure hope they can find a better match for her soon!

i do know that livers have a lot of self-repair capability so i will also hope for the shorter and longer term that the one she's been given will do ok and perhaps get better. hang in there everyone!

This is not what I want expected. You and family must be totally sideswiped. But as @flowerbug said, this liver is sorta working, so it’s better than what she had. Praying that another one becomes available fast. Big hugs.

Thanks - I appreciate everyone's concern. My precious daughter passed away today. Ya'll will understand if I need to take a little time off.
