Showing my age... $1.95 an hour Montgomery Wards - furniture department. I vaguely remember after 30 days, it went to $3.00 an hour. That was pretty good money for part time, still in HS.

Edit... maybe it was $3.25, man that was a long time ago. My storage capacity between my ears ain't what it used to be

Bear is taking 2 differnt pills. 1 twice a day and the other once a day. So I lay down to go to sleep and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I forgot to give bear his meds I couldn't go to sleep without doing what needs to be done. So I got up and gave bear his meds.

Coffee is ready. My first job was at JC Penny when I was 16. Minimum wage was $1.60 and I was hired at a whopping &1.70!!! A full ten cents over minimum wage! I worked weekends and after school. My first apartment when I was 17, was $135 a month.

I can buy cotton T shirts for less now than I could then.

quality is always an issue, i have some that are very thin and so they won't last very long compared to the others that are three or more times heavier. in the longer term it won't matter as i have enough that i don't really want any more.

It's only 47 here, with 41 feel like. Almost 2" of rain in last 24 and that makes for cold, damp, goes thru to bones feel. I'm having hot coffee and had some heat going for 2 days now. It was in mid 80s just 10 days ago. What happened??? . This is 20* below our norm...not liking it either. Seems it'll be cooler all week. Of course, I'm home all week!! Geesh.

I'll just muddle thru. Unhappy muddler.

Well you and I are having the same weather, I dont want to get dressed yet, its to cold. I have things I need to do, like get chicken wire up where I moved the garden fence so the rabbits dont pop through, although,, I have not seen a rabbit in a long time. We HAD like 8 jumping around the last 3yrs, but I think there is a well fed owl out there. I have not seen one rabbit.
