Yesterday worked into a productive one. Got yard mowed, need to trim out today. Trip to dump with some storm blow stuff, on way for mower gas. Misc farm things happened and made cheese last night.

Mid day shower - sweaty from mowing, etc -- and an unexpected happened once I sat down.

i hope the unexpected was a nap and not a bee!

Then the needy chicks got attention....

This morn I slept a little late & now enjoying my morning coffee-wake up ritual. nice.

slow easy mornings are very nice indeed.

i procrastinated about an hour longer than i should have, but i'm just not a morning person no matter how i'm packaged and prodded.

i did get about an hour and a half in of weeding before i called it enough. tomorrow will be another day, i'll try to get out earlier, but i make no promises as i know i can't keep them...

Couple of hours outside early this morning. Continuing the strategy of little wins. Spots in the yard still with standing water, so only about half the mowing done. Did finally get the tomatoes in to their bed.
Called it quits when the temps hit 80

As of this morning, all the levels of evac are cancelled. It was pretty nasty!

Today sun is up bright!! Predicted 98 with feel like of 105. This is happening all week. I prefer hot to cold but, this is testing my limits.

Did I somehow get moved to TX???

Yesterday a hard storm that lasted on hour, dumped 1 1/2” of rain, lightning strikes too close for comfort. One knocked power out for a few hours. This morning, foggy and HOT. Read that as a steam bath.

Nope....didn't move just thinking about you. No rain here, so just usual "wish it were gone" humidity. Saunas are good for the skin. Enjoy
