My desire to become more ss is born from a desire to be a better steward of all of our resources - money, natural resources, hard work, etc. I believe it honors God to use things efficiently, to appreciate enough, and to give back to the world around us.
I agree with BeeKissed on the original...
Well, I am one of those people who knows both sides of it. I was married and trying to have a baby for 4 years when my husband and I decided to adopt (after trying fertility treatments). I cried out to God, literally, and asked Him why so many people could have babies every day and not care...
Does your DH realize the financial help you get from foster parenting? I wish more people had your attitude about it. I am in agreement with you. I know that I will adopt more someday. I have often said that if I had the room I would take 20 of them! So many people view foster children as...
I was a foster parent from 1998 until 2007 when our last foster child's adoption was finalized. We didn't keep all of them, but we were mainly classified a "long-term to permanent" home because of our willingness to adopt if it became possible.

shredded cheddar - about 1 cup
crushed Doritos (nacho cheese flavor...
I'm new around here, but I had to tell you that my heart really goes out to you and your family. When reading your post a few things came to mind. I have been a foster parent in the past and 4 of my 5 children are adopted foster children (number 5 is the miracle baby ;)). The positive thing...
This is my first post! :D And from reading your posts, I already love you guys and gals!
I used to be loyal to lots of brands... in fact I wasted a LOT of money because I thought that was the only way to go. I used Heinz ketchup, Jif peanut butter, Ritz crackers, Kraft dressing, I could go...
