    Well except for being incredibly wasteful regarding the oil in my car (great post :thumbsup ) I do everything that you all do.... One thing that I do that I didn't see was I cut my SOS pads, enough of a portion to get what I need done so the rest of the pad doesn't rust out.......

    It's a hole in ground for pete's sake, your biggest problem is the same as with chickens - predators - rodent control should be you biggest concern. We had one growing up don't remember it being to high - tech - I also lived a dry area - is humidity an issue where you are at?
