Crocheting!
Which I used to only do during the chilly months of the year because I can’t stand to be hot. But I’ve learned to tolerate some heat since I’ve gotten older, so my crocheting isn’t limited to winter any more.
(Plus I would vote for everything on that checklist.)
Probably not. I have grown to like Indiana. We have family in Colorado Springs, but that area is so crazy built up and expensive. And I have never liked Colorado.
I think I would like to stay where I am familiar with the climate etc. Indiana has a lot of nice areas though, so not sure which...
😂 Lucky you, but didn’t you move to your current place from a previous farm? So you already paid your dues way back when!
And, 22 years ago when we bought this place and moved here from Michigan, we were trying to get a farm in the country that would be in commuting distance from DH’s new job...
Well I didn’t manage to get my 6 resolutions for 2025 done, so I guess my resolution for this year is to keep trying. 🤷🏼♀️
DH decided to move up his retirement from his 60th birthday in 2027 to the end of 2026. He figures no point waiting the couple extra months. Then he said we may as well...
I made a sheet pan dinner last night too! Ours was seasoned broccoli on one side and a flat meatloaf on the other side. It was pretty good and I learned that flat meatloaf cooks much faster than bread-shaped meatloaf. I might start making all my meatloaves flat. It also called for putting a...
Says the man who eats cake for breakfast! 🤣
I know you are right. OJ is one of the highest sugar content juices. I just happen to love it, and not-so-much like real oranges. No way you’re getting me to eat orange peel in any form! 😂 But even with the current elevated prices, it is cheaper per...
Speaking of shrinkflation, I was about to buy a gallon of orange juice at WM the other day when I noticed that it wasn’t a full gallon! It was a mere small 2.25 quarts! No way I’m paying full gallon price for that!
(Apparently the American orange tree farms got hit hard by some disease a while...
Lucky!
I have my eye on that 17 quart model because it’s tall enough to water bath quart jars. But it’s just so pricey for getting a second machine. 65%off! Score! Wish I had that kind of store around here!
When we moved here 21 years ago, we had been used to real hardwood floors (old house was built in 1959). This house has pretend wood floors and we hated the plasticky feel and sound of it! But over the years I have grown to love it because it cleans up so easily. It’s almost like non-stick! (Not...
If you are posting from an iPhone (maybe it is similar on other phones too?) when you click to attach files and then click Photo Library, look way down on the bottom right and you should see this unassuming little button:
Clicking on that will give you these options, which clicking on large or...
