what tea plant would make tea like lipton tea????

Freemotion, I learned the basic idea from a man from India, about thirty years ago. I don't remember the exact spices or how long he "cooked" it. I've used many variations over the years. If there is an Indian restaurant near you, you could ask. There are probably many recipes.

    homemade laundry detergent/shampoo

My grandmothers used liquid bluing. On their whites in the laundry, and on their hair so it wouldn't be yellow or dingy. It's how the white-haired folks came to be known as blue-hairs. I use Mrs. Stewart's liquid bluing for my homemade ink. I get it at Kroger grocery store. I use baking...

The plant I bought was about two feet tall when I got it. It started producing blossoms the first year. I don't have links handy, but there is info available on the web about when to harvest the leaves and how to prepare the leaves for white, green, oolong, or black tea. I think the steaming...

I'd toss it. Rancid anything, ingested, or taken in through the skin cells, is not healthy.

what tea plant would make tea like lipton tea????

Tea comes from the camellia sinensis. It would have to be grown in a greenhouse environment where you are. I live in Atlanta and have one outside, up next to the house, in a large container. The blossoms have a pungent, sweet smell. Similar to jasmine, or those ornamental oranges in Arizona...

DIY ink for dipping pens: Mrs. Stewart's bluing, et al

Being one of those who prefers to write with a fountain pen, I decided to try my hand at writing with a dipping pen. In pricing inks for dipping pens, I found them too expensive. I read that Mrs. Stewart's liquid bluing can be used for ink. I am experimenting with using it, as is, out of the...

    How to Make Butter

Tankshill, we get fresh cream and milk from a neighbor who has a cow. She usually has enough extra to sell. If you had a cow, I'm sure you'd get folks who'd want what you couldn't use.
