Well, it's been a few years! A lot of things have changed, and a lot have not. I think I'll hang out a while and see who is still here, who's new and who might return....

After many attempts at making my own and buying several natural brands, both with and without baking soda, I had given up and gone back to Secret. I work in public schools which are over heated in the winter and not air conditioned in the warm months. I can't go without and I can't use something...

We do the wet sock treatment. Right before bedtime get your feet nice and warm. Run them under warm water in the tub, take a bath or shower, or my favorite method, tuck them under a dog for a bit... then put on a pair of socks that have been rung out in cold water and over those put on a pair...

Is Samhain observed on a particular date? On the Sunday closest to Nov 1 we observe All Saints and remember our loved ones who passed. I wonder if there was once a connection. I don't know enough about the roots of my own religion to have the answer.
