Yes, I have the barn divided into stalls from the horses, makes it easy to keep them apart. Since these are certified organic, i don't think there will be a problem but will keep them apart anyway. I am starting to look for other outlets for the eggs. :)

Found a local source for some organic pullets ready to start laying. This could possibly help increase egg sales and up prices. Also may be able to purchase his leftover feed at a reduced price. In order to restart their production they clean out the hen house.

Are you keeping track of your feed costs. I cost out the price of each doz of eggs as the price of feed goes up or down. I buy my feed from feed elevator and the cost per 100 is around 19.50. Right now my feed cost is about 44 cents per doz, What is your cost?:)
