Thanks I just bought some beets and was wondering how to cook them...I think I'll go start them now as it is getting on to supper time...do I assume that it is a 350 oven????

I cant believe anyone can spend 8000 a month on anything...I wonder how much he makes...

my bins are made out of old cedar fence rails and wooden paletts...the cedar does not rot I have one bin for leaves and sticks from the yard where my dogs might have left a surprise and I use that compost for the grass and trees and flower beds and then I have my garden scrap and coop shavings...

has anyone seen Garden Girl TV on Youtube?? she tells you how to be SS in the city on little land...

check your catalogs from your area they will have the best plants for your area... being in New Hampshire I buy from Johnny's Select Seeds in Maine...I grow ever bearing and always have enough for the table and jams and the chickens...you might want to try a raised bed with lots of compost added...
