knock off wood blog had a cute book shelf/dish shelf/what not shelf posted yesterday, made from a pallet. Really cute idea. You don't have to fool with taking out the nails, just cut the pallet apart and add a couple 2x4's.
Shread them for use in a shreaded pear pie. I do this with apples too. It is delish. I don't have the recipe in front of me, but can find it and post later.

My 29 year old daughter wouldn't eat my fresh eggs as first. She thought they were "nasty"! I couldn't believe it! Now she will eat them and feed them to her 2 girls, but she still thinks the chickens are "nasty".
