I hope those CO fires aren't near where you live. They just had some news about them and the numbers of homes that have burned down reminds me of the San Diego fire a few years ago.

No fires near me. Boulder is far North and West. Abi is downtown Denver. I don't think concrete burns that well!

Colorado this time of year is dry and windy. Our fire danger is HIGH! Sometimes they are sparked by stupid people, but a lot of times it is lightning that gets them going.

We had some serious fires north and east of us some years ago. The sky was orange and everything got coated in ash. It was eerie. And the smoke definitely made my throat and eyes hurt.
I sure hope they get those fires under control.

Fires are actually good for nature, but it isn't so nice when peoples' home are involved.
Glad to know you all are a safe distance from the fires.

Been wondering about our CO. friends. Glad to hear you all are well. Just saw this morning that a gas main exploded south of San Fran. and destroyed about 50 homes. Hope none of our CA. friends are near there.
