I know if I had to, I could live in my tack shed. It's only 8x12, but once it's done, it will have everything that I actually have to have. But I also know I'd be much more comfortable in a small house. Last time I checked, my piano wouldn't fit in the tack shed. And, the bedroom furniture is mine. It belonged to my grandparents and I have no desire to part w/it. Other than that, there's my desk (got it curbside shopping), my favorite chair (ditto) and all my books. Other than that, hubby can have all the furniture. Oh, and I guess I'd have to keep the TV he gave me for Christmas, but that doesn't take up much room.

WBF.....I almost envy you...moving into a smaller place, and having a bit of freedom. I DO Love my husband, 32 yrs and still going strong. However, like you, I DETEST cleaning...( should be doing that now, but don't want too) LOL I would LOVE to have a "tiny house" But hubby is 6 ft 3 and declares he "needs a large home" *sigh* I wish you the BEST in your new arrangements....and commend you and hubby for parting peacefully!

I gotta give you kudos for a peaceful split also. My first (and only - so far, lol) divorce lasted 3 years and another year for the property settlement... sheesh...

So, are you moving totally off premises? Will you be able to reap any of the benefits of all the work you've done with the garden and the critters?

I hope so, cuz you've been working your patootie off!

Yeah, that's part of the agreement. I will be tending what is here. I'm moving totally off premises, but only 2 miles away  We NEED a break from each other!!!!!!!! He has issues to work out, I have issues to work out, the CHILD has issues to work out. We all mix about as well as oil and water right now. who knows where we'll end up, but we won't get anywhere as is. It was smarter for me to leave, so that was the arrangement :hu

I'm a bit excited too. I spent the day cleaning the trailer, and STILL did not get finished!! :he Oh well, tomorrow should do it. It was a wreck, and worse than I had anticipated. I would have stayed there tonight, but it is raining, and temp dropped dramatically and no electric means no heat, means I don't think so buddy  One more night here, then on to moving things out of the house and into my lil nook :D Come next Friday night......I will NOT be sitting home!

Well I am back home for another night :p Started moving things today, but didn't get finished, and it's COLD again :/ I'll get there one day. I'm just glad me and J are getting along well enough I am comfortable staying here at the house. :) I have been doing laundry all stankin day it seems and still not finished. You;d think moving 2 miles away would be easier but it aint :hu

I'm still sick...still trying to get over it. Hoping this rain will get lost and we can get some sunshine soon so I can get outside and finish up the trailer and go "home" to it within the week. Cleaning supplies plus this weather change has just about killed me!!
