I also miss you Free....... :(
Haha...was that me? :hide I know I sure wanted to a few times, can't remember if I ever did...:idunno
But these days I figure you can keep it if you want to...someday hopefully you'll understand, but it isn't really up to anyone here on earth to try and reach you if you dont want to know :) :old Otherwise, I love reading what you post! ;)
Actually, Tecumseh had it partly true....at least even he recognized that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and mankind did kill him out of ignorance of just who He was. But he got it wrong when he stated that people only worshipped Him after he was dead. There were many who predicted His coming, worshipped Him while He walked the Earth and knew that it was his destiny to die for our sins....so worshipping Him after he was killed was all part of the plan.

I think it wonderful that SKR8PN has my Lord's name in his siggy line and recognizes that He was and is The Christ! :)
:thumbsup You are so right!

We've been so busy this past week, I've had NO TIME to be here!

Literally, this whole week we've been getting up early and our feet hit the ground running! Tomorrow we have church, and then portraits, and maybe dinner at Church in the evening, but haven't decided yet. I think Monday is the first day we've no where to go.

I AM EXHAUSTED.

I must be out of the loop because I had no idea.

It may be different here now, but I still learn something interesting here almost every day.

No, it wasn't you Bee, and the fact I have "his" name in my siggy line has absolutely nothing to do with a religious recognition. It simply represents another point of view.

If you think about it, from a Native American point of view, and from understanding their beliefs, Tecumseh nailed it dead on(no pun intended) How "christian" was it to kill them for their land and for their beliefs? For that matter, how many have died over the centuries in religious wars? The Crusades were just the beginning.......

 Christians didn't kill Him. That always makes me laugh. The difference between a christian by name and a Christian by grace and faith is IMMENSE..nevermind the fact that it literally wasn't Christians anyway, but Jews, and Romans...you guys are so funny

Boy this thread has been jacked!

It weren't me neither..I dunno who it was :hu Whoever it was should be proud of their fame by now though as much as this gets talked about ;)

You make such good points! There a lot of people in costumes out there and if you pulled at there soul long enough theyd show themselves, then you have true ones who you need not pull at their soul because you can tell from the outside the workings of their soul and spirituality. Anyhow, it weren't me either :hu

Faith is a whole different animal than religion, and living by grace is to NOT kill...but to Forgive and Love. Good post WBF!

As the original OP I say hi jack away. I hope this post gets hi jacked a dozen times. Thats called an ongoing opportunity to mull life over and take it on a road trip. Roads trips aren't fun if you get stuck in a rut.

Amen to that, Animal farm!

SKR8PN, I knew it wasn't me...I don't send nasty PMs. ;) I find it to be bad form to say something mean in private that you wouldn't utter out in public. Not to say I don't reply to nasty PMs sent to me, but to send one? Nope. Not worth my time to stew in private...I like to get that venom out of the blood stream. :D

"christian" was it to kill them for their land and for their beliefs?
I don't know who assumed it was Christians driving the Indians from their lands, but it can safely be assured they were not Christians. That's like saying all mechanics are dishonest, all lawyers are crooked, all men are complete idiots because the majority of those I've known fit those descriptors. Just because someone rises up and says, "I'm going to do this and this in the name of Christ!" does not exactly follow that he has Christ's stamp of approval.

Any adult could figure that one out! ;)
