Amen to that, Animal farm!

SKR8PN, I knew it wasn't me...I don't send nasty PMs. ;) I find it to be bad form to say something mean in private that you wouldn't utter out in public. Not to say I don't reply to nasty PMs sent to me, but to send one? Nope. Not worth my time to stew in private...I like to get that venom out of the blood stream. :D

"christian" was it to kill them for their land and for their beliefs?
I don't know who assumed it was Christians driving the Indians from their lands, but it can safely be assured they were not Christians. That's like saying all mechanics are dishonest, all lawyers are crooked, all men are complete idiots because the majority of those I've known fit those descriptors. Just because someone rises up and says, "I'm going to do this and this in the name of Christ!" does not exactly follow that he has Christ's stamp of approval.

Any adult could figure that one out! ;)
Bee.......as a human race, "WE" killed JC..........you can name the different religions all you want, but it was HUMANS that took him out.
As far as christian's stealing the native Americans lands??? There were no Christians here before the Europeans came......so from a Native Americans point of view"WE" did kill JC and "WE" did murder them and steal their lands.....

There a lot of people in costumes out there and if you pulled at there soul long enough theyd show themselves, then you have true ones who you need not pull at their soul because you can tell from the outside the workings of their soul and spirituality.
This one made me ROTFLMAO. You have no clue at all about me grasshopper.
I am not one to wear my beliefs on my sleeve, but I also don't let them get trampled upon.

Perfectly said.

Myself and others keep saying that we still have good people here! Some of those that left will come back as new members with different names, too.
Do people actually do this??

some that left if they came back under other usernames would be noticed fast...LOL...same old song sung!!

This board is fine if new members will start posting some new SS ideas etc. Heck the board runs on new info. New is needed. Old info is great cause it contains good stuff, but geez, nothing has been lost truly that I can see to keep a forum up and running.

Info....chat....fun....projects....new ideas. that is a forum. to re-hash over and over gets super old :)

I agree. But I remember when I was lurking, there was so many threads to go through. And we all know how much 'other' info is inside some of those threads that have a completely different topic title.

I think some of us needed the break - the jokes 'n fun area has had some extra attention lately and that's a good thing. The holiday season is here so many are really busy. Some have extra chores to do with winterizing, dealing with firewood, critters, hunting, etc.

But the bottom line is alway this: We're here to help others with our experience and knowledge. We're here to learn some new tips, a new way of doing what we do. So if any of the newbies have a question, ask away!

And yes, some of the ones that left will come back under different names. AND you're right, eventually they'll be shouting the same stuff as before.

I would say a religious argument in a thread about "where did everyone go" might say a lot about where everyone went. My religious beliefs are personal and I don't feel they belong on threads having nothing to do with religion.

People can post whatever they like in their signature line.

Exactly!! Start your own forum "Who really killed Jesus Christ"

It doesn't belong here. IMHO

I agree 100% with Gals.

Sig lines to me are personal. To take the chat into PMs and even ONTO this board is horrible. I stand strong on that one for sure!

I said it before, sig lines are personal territory. I still stand by that one.

I also miss you Free....... :(
Haha...was that me? :hide I know I sure wanted to a few times, can't remember if I ever did...:idunno
But these days I figure you can keep it if you want to...someday hopefully you'll understand, but it isn't really up to anyone here on earth to try and reach you if you dont want to know :) :old Otherwise, I love reading what you post! ;)
Actually, Tecumseh had it partly true....at least even he recognized that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and mankind did kill him out of ignorance of just who He was. But he got it wrong when he stated that people only worshipped Him after he was dead. There were many who predicted His coming, worshipped Him while He walked the Earth and knew that it was his destiny to die for our sins....so worshipping Him after he was killed was all part of the plan.

I think it wonderful that SKR8PN has my Lord's name in his siggy line and recognizes that He was and is The Christ! :)
Thanks for being bold enough to interpret this. If you look at what Bee says here it clearly makes sense and so did Tecumseh. He merely looked at what was going on, not what he believed. Many folks have defiled the name of the Carpenter of Nazareth by their violent and evil actions claiming to be acting in HIS behalf. I for one do NOT accept that as valid. He never did anything like that so what made them feel they could do those things in HIS name?
Beats me to this day.
