Just when I go to post something, Sunsaver writes exactly what was in my head, like usual. So I'll leave it at that I guess. Doesn't matter much to me, you're all people right?? Men and women have great info. They also have not so great info. Unless I'm looking for sex, I don't really care what gender the person is. But then that might not matter either

ROFLMBAOSTC!!!!! (and I don't even have a cat)

I read one of Dr. Laura's books, thinking it was outrageous. Well, she has been proven right in this thread. And I can already name the women who will criticize her and this post.

This forum will never be friendly to all as long as certain people feel compelled to feel insulted and challenged by EVERYTHING.

I'd love to see more men on here and BYC and NHH, as well, but I totally understand why they flee.

Most of the time I don't even notice if a poster is male or female. I do think that women tend to be more likely to post on forums that favor sharing of advice and personal experiences. And more likely to respond with personal information, not just facts. Like when my husband responds to an email he will just give facts. I have to write something personal like "How are you?" or "It's good to hear from you" then give the information.

i feel ya brother, aside from me, bubba the australian sheppard, and a couple of roosters, "long strange trip acres" is seriously lacking in the testosterone dept. but i wouldn't have it any other way.

joel, i read here a lot, but i only post when i feel like i've got something constructive to say. i'm not a chatty guy. i work crazy hours, 3 days, 3 off, 3 nights, 3 off on 12 hr shifts with 1 week off a month. i'm involved in other forums, 2 v-twin harley forums, 2 cigar forums, wood working, metalurgy, shucks even as i post this i've got 2 different cigar auction sites open in other tabs. i enjoy all things ss, but if lil mama (dawn419) wasn't here i'd probably miss out on a lot of the more interesting threads, is you're so over here, or are you running solo? dawn does the ss blog thing with our progress here on the homestead, i started one just to blow off steam, talk about the latest great cigar i've smoked or the latest high end liquor i've enjoyed, we'll soon waller up into a 600 sq ft cabin build and a harley front end rebuild. i realy don't care if it gets read by anyone but me. we works by ourselveses and talks to ourselveses all the time my prescious. grab you're self a blog i'll read it, i read a few of the fella's blogs. rambling in our headses is gooood.........doh, gotta go, just won a bid on a very rare box of cigars.......

No, my wife doesn't post here. She's pretty skilled at most homestead things, but she's also an artist... and creating work and doing "the business of art" (galleries, clients, patrons, sales) is where she focuses. She does also like to landscape around our place - shrubs, flowers, stones, and a pond. But she leaves the larger practical adventures to me, by her own choice. So I'm the one who gets and shares info on the web forums about carpentry, land tilling, wood and metal construction, engine maintenance, and such.

G'day, I have be "observing this thread"for some time now,has anybody considered the following .The boys other half could get a little "nervous" about their man having so many conversations with an "array" of ladies and so they may apply pressure on him to "reduce or suspend" them?(happy wife, happy life)............................................T.O.R................................
