We bought ourselves a Kitchenaid 5 qt pro line mixer for only $200.00 and free shipping! Total score!!! So now I have to find a place to put it.....
My grandmother also gave me a medium sized pot, which is awesome because I didn't have one! And I got nice measuring spoons and cups from my sister, very handy to upgrade the cheap ones that we had before.
Funniest part is that I don't cook
They will get used though... just mostly by him and not me! :p

We don't do presents anymore, haven't for years. No small children around, and we usually get what we need when we need it. We concentrate on making the day a pleasant one, with a good meal and nice company. This year however I did get a nice present - a week in Mexico with my best friend!! She needed time away to sort out some things in her life, and asked me if I wanted to join her. And, even though he is laid up with a broken ankle, DH wanted me to go :love. so I spent my birthday in Mexico, and came home to make Christmas as nice for him as I could. I had a great time on the trip, and we also had a nice day yesterday, though quiet, as the only family members nearby were sick, and didn't want to either be or have guests.

Farmopoly (funny ha ha) and my hubby is building me some major shelving in the basement; we don't have any closets in this place.

DD and I got matching heart shaped silver lockets with "Love" in relief on the front. On my love side is pic of her, on her love side is a pic of me, and our other side has a pic of ourselves. This was DD's idea. She's such a sweetie.

My dad brought us a like-new couch. Our old couch was baaaad.

And I got a giant commercial salad spinner (for manual laundry).

DH and I combined funds and bought a Bersa Thunder 9mm in an auction for only $300. We found out later it was a confiscated weapon sold in a police auction; looks like it's never been fired. We still need at least one more magazine, and dies to reload ammo.

Juicing is great! I used to work in a health food store and got used to drinking them. Finally bought my Acme (used) and a stiff brush to make clean up easy. You'll be enjoying yourself with the new machine. :)
