Dealing with rust on metal surfaces

Rust can be a problem on almost any bare surface of ferrous metal (iron, steel). There are a number of methods that can be used to remove rust, depending on factors like how much rust there is, the shape of the metal surface that's rusted, the thickness of the metal involved, and so on.

Yeah, that's the approach that usually works for me... probably four times out of five.

I've read somewhere that Coca-Cola can also remove rust. Just never tried it our for myself.
