Only thing is, the legend/list says "Canada" where my SS poster name "Joel_BC" should appear.

Never mind, I figured out how to add myself.
For anyone wondering, if you log into your Google account (e.g. gmail), you can go to the map, click the "EDIT" button at the top, then navigate to where you are on the map, click the add placemark icon in the map window, give it a name and description and OK out. Then go back to the left panel and click "Done".
