I'm just joining this site, I thought I would be a good place to get advice and talk with like minded people. My dream is to have a small urban homestead, with a wide veriety of projects that allow me to live green and be as self sufficient as possible while still living in the city.

Welcome! I live smack dab in the middle of town, mere blocks from City Hall and the police station. I keep hens (no rooster) in the backyard and garden in beds in the front yard. I bought a Family Grain mill and wheat to make our own bread. I bought an Excalibur dehydrator and dehydrate a lot of my harvest. I can't make us 100% SS, but I sure can try! I would be thrilled to have an acre! Can't wait to hear more about your SS lifestyle!
