Normally I would have my lights set up and the breakfast table covered. The excitement at tiny specks of green coming up never gets old to me. But we are moving and I have all these seeds and I can't do anything with them! Not that I am complaining, we are moving to 8 acres, but I didn't plant a fall garden and I am behind on getting my seeds started. U-Haul on Saturday!

@Solstnum - I'm starting too! I got pepper and tomato seeds started yesterday. Okay, it's just a tiny start, but it's a start! Is that coffee filters you've got your dirt in??

I feel for ya, Baymule! I get really antsy if I can't get my fingers in the dirt on a regular basis. Your time will come and soon enough you'll have you garden again!

Yeah, the coffee filters make it very easy to transplant when the time comes.

I just got my new seeds today :ya We haven't had any snow this year, just lots of rain. I should be able to start my peas, broad beans, black garbanzos, and something new called Bee's Friend (Phacelia tanacetifolia) that apparently bees go wild for, as well as lots of other beneficial insects.

Yeah these seeds are bell peppers, eggplant and string beans. They are my 5 gallon bucket crops. After I transplant them in a month I'll start my squash, okra and tomato seeds for the garden.

Peas going into the raised bed this week since the rain stopped. This is standard starting time here. I'll probably get the spinach in as well.

Right now, I don't have a place to start seeds. But, I should be able to soon. I do have some sweet taters sending up slips, though.
