DS10 is being stubborn about math. He now HATES math. That was most of the day.

DS2 is starting to get one-to-one correspondence, shown by trying to count our three goats on his fingers. Cool! He'll be counting for real soon then! We roasted marshmallows tonight. He prefers them raw. He exclaimed "oooooof dah!" today and used the phrase appropriately. :love

I had to go buy my DS10 new school pants today after he went off to school this morning walking like a penguin in the pair I bought him not two months ago. I swear he times his growth spurts for when he gets new clothes! At the shop the he bought another (his 4th I think) fidget spinner and almost immediately took it back, because it wasn't spinning long and fast enough. Amazingly the shop keeper swapped it out for another one. Kids? What the heck happened to yo-yo's?

Haha! I haven't seen one of those spinners yet. Heard all about them though, and I'm kind of glad they appeared after I stopped teaching!

DD hung out with my mom while DH and I went to TSC, then we had a cookout there. Now gearing up to go do animal chores. Nothing too exciting and it's cold and rainy!

LOL, we saw a kid walking with a fidget spinner. DH and I were like "hey look, someone that actually has a fidget spinner". We think they're strange. So many ways to keep kids busy on a farm. Fidget spinner? Pshaw, here's a shovel. :D

I don't get them myself, but some company out there is making a living fortune out of these things at the moment.

It's pouring again today. DD and I did some work on letters, but I'm not feeling great so time to read some books.
