Family drama sucks- seems to be the week for it!

So, to lighten the mood I wrote you a song!

I already sent a copy to Blake Shelton and he can't wait to record it - so nobody get no ideas about stealing it, lol!

Went to Walmart for ammo for my 40 cal,
Need it to scare off a 4-legged pal,

He's hairy and mean and he scares me real bad,
He eats all my berries and that makes me mad!

When I'm done with the bear I'll go after the fox,
Instead of the hen house he'll live in a box,

Dead bear, dead fox I'll kill them right now
No time for their foolishness - gotta go feed the sow

I got a bun in the oven and no time for this $hit
Gotta go vomit - be back in a bit!
FEM, think I love you! :gig

Haha the bears and guns don't stress me out like family does! I'm pretty good. Still more tired than normal, otherwise good.

Anxiously waiting for my husband to pull in the driveway with his first load of materials for the barn. I'm so afraid something will go wrong and the jerks will take it down on him. Some people around here are not so nice.

Wow that was only one glass huh? Lol

Haven't heard from or seen DH yet. I hope that's a good thing? I was sure I would have seen him by now.

FEM, drink more! That was awesome :D

Fingers crossed all is going well! Hopefully it's a "no news is good news" situation, in this case, he's taking long because they are still busy loading stuff for him to bring home.

Ahhhhh they're here! Dropping off enough material to build a 16x16' (or slightly larger) barn. Including wiring, lights, and even a breaker box! The metal for the roof is already here, got that last week. Woohoo! And the guy tearing it down bought everyone lunch. He was in a good mood today apparently. DH is heading down to help them finish tearing the parts we don't need down (cruddy flooring, etc). And back to normal work for him tomorrow. Probably won't have time to build the barn until fall. So in the meantime ... Flooring research.

What do you goat and sheep people have for flooring in your barns? I know concrete isn't the best but DH's boss does concrete so we could have it done for cost. And if we make wooden sleeping benches anyway, would that be terrible?

Kind of my interior plan. We'll use cattle panels to section off the big area into kidding stalls in the spring but I won't need anything more permanent for kidding since I only have 3 does, and shouldn't have more than 5 at any point. This pic is from Storey's Guide.
