Last night we had frozen pizza for supper and tonight chili dogs with canned chili. I'm thinking of just laying all of it in a 9 x 10 pan and topping with cornbread batter and baking.

Mmmmmm.... Chili sounds wonderful today. And cornbread! Yum! Maybe tomorrow, I have SO much leftovers right now! I'm going to soak beans to get started though!

got home late today because we helped my friend install a light fixture in her kitchen... so it's a canned ham with mustard and molasses glaze, salad, and home-pickled beets tonight

My supper plans fell apart fast! DH's brother was in town so they went out. DS2 was sick, drank 2 oz milk and that's it. I don't know what DS10 ate - he is very capable of cooking/feeding himself. I had a big late snack so I wasn't hungry. :hu Whatever, we'll survive without a proper meal.

Hope he feels better today! I can't wait until DD can cook for herself, that will be amazing! Lol

We had tacos last night, not sure what to make tonight... Hmm...

Lamb chops with something here this evening. Not sure what the "something" is going to be yet. Night before last we were out late and had take-away pizza. Last night I was too tired to cook, so we snacked on an assortment on things, including fruit and croissants and left-over pizza.

DD requested pork chops and we picked some corn from my parents' garden so pork chops and corn on the cob it is.

So no picture on this one but my niece and I started throwing stuff into a pot, and this was sooo good! (Cleaning off the cupboard)

1 can dk red kidney beans
1 can navy beans
I large diced tomato
4-5 finely diced banana peppers,
1 small bell pepper
1 large japaleno pepper
A dozen sliced fresh picked okra
About 1/3 cup each of long cooked white rice, quinoa, Canadian manoomin ( jumbo black wild rice), and Calrose rice
And about 4 cups water
Spices (garlic powder, sage, salt, pepper, and rosemary)

Really good! After hiking, we came back and ate every bit. Not even a teaspoon left for a picture.
