We went down to Passage East, Co Waterford today and a local man pointed out the goats on the hillside, overlooking the village. I managed to get a pic of them and some info.

What a cool story! I like it that the people are proud of their feral goats and prize them instead of wiping them our as a nuisance. How wonderful. Love the pics. You get to see and do so many amazing things the rest of us can only dream about. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!

You're welcome, @baymule. It is a privilege to be able to live and travel here. I keep finding new amazing places. I took some more pics off the hilltop, I'll go post one on my Ireland thread in a bit. Just wanted to share the goats with you all so long :) So glad my camera was able to zoom in on them, they were some distance from us and nowhere near where we could get to. The man that pointed them out to me told us now to get up the hillside to get a better look. He seemed right proud of their village's goat residents :)

There's a small town south of me called Ambrose. There's about 50 people there. They have the same thing going on, except it's a flock of chickens. :gig

@frustratedearthmother wish you were here this afternoon! We drove through Passage East and the goats were all over and alongside the road. There are quite a few of them, I think about 15-20. Sorry I couldn't get a better pic. There wasn't anywhere to pull over and we had a car behind us, so we couldn't stop properly.
