3 chinese hens since I don't have any marans. They are a bit big to put in my little pear trees since their color is partridge

Lmao! They are one of the calmest breeds and popular for kids because they are gentle.

They act a little odd compared to my other chickens. They have scary little brains. They figure out really quick how to slick back the crest with water and that mud works even better.

I've witnessed where two hens apparently thought out a cunning plan to be hair dressers. They spilled water out of the water can onto the ground and then mixed it with their beaks and rubbed their heads into it.

The spot on the ground was about 5 inches across. Only their faces and heads were muddy. Even their feet were dry.
