I'm with you on that! And no, mud doesn't help. Pigs are super useful part of the year but full time isn't fun.

I'm with y'all on that! I know I don't want full time pigs! I will happily buy feeder pigs from those who raise them, to keep them in business. There are far too many ads on Craigslist for feeder pigs and it is so easy to go pick them up. It may be a crapshoot on breed, but it is all pork.

Sooooo, tomorrow I plan to do some more electric fencing, unless it's raining. :( If it's raining, I should dig out my tomato seeds and think about which, and how many I want to plant. I want tomatoes...and I'm going on the full faith that this ridiculous cold weather is killing any and all stinkin' stink bugs. :fl Isn't it crazy to start gardening?!?!?!?! I can start them in the garage with lights and stuff....but what if it gets really, really cold again? Will the tiny little seedlings perish? 'Course if I start 'em in the breezeway, where mom and dad's bed still is, I could temperature control them a bit better. Guess I'll be moving a bed outta there this weekend too.... Sigh... so much work, so little time!

Just ordered funeral flowers for my friends daughter :( Wouldn't ya know her funeral is Monday morning - and DH's surgery was rescheduled for Monday morning. :(

Having a second cup of coffee before heading outside to slop around in the mud. Gotta get that fence finished! Hope I don't have to call in reinforcements for hammering in the fence insulators. My right shoulder is 'bout to give up. Same problem a couple years ago - Pt worked eventually. Guess I'm gonna have to break down and start doing the exercises again. I've kinda been waiting for it to heal itself. That's not working so well for me right now, ugh. Guess that would be too easy!

Got a couple hours of work on the fence - but then got rained out. I worked through a couple of light showers and would have kept working if the showers had continued to be light - they didn't. When I couldn't see what I was doing cuz my glasses were too wet I had to quit. Good news is I basically finished the tear down of the fence extensions I had put up. Now I just need to put up the insulators and stretch the cord, tie it in and turn it back on. I'd really like to get that done this weekend. I'm tired of needing to keep Cowboy up...not fun for any of us.

AND- just checked my email and had an email from from the Kiko breeder that she sent yesterday. They had a 100% Kiko buck born yesterday and she want to know if I'm interested - uh YES! I hope by not checking my email until today that I haven't missed out. Waiting on a response from them now.

:fl for the kiko! Sorry to hear about your shoulder and the rain… I wear a cap to keep the water off my glasses when I need to work outside. Which is often enough here lol
