I bought my wife a "new" foot powered sewing machine :) it weighs about 150 lbs.

Beautiful! And the veneers look to be in good shape still. I don't know where else they might be available, but I know you can get most of the parts- like belts and such- from Lehman's.

I have one also, and I remember using it to sew up a canvas pavilion for the SCA... I'll tell ya, you can work up quite a sweat working those long seams, lol!

Oh wow! My mom had one of those manual sewing machines years ago, I loved it. It belonged to my gran before. I occasionally see ones like yours in antique shops, they really are something special :)
