I showed this to my wife's Amish friend, She laughed at me and said oh it's a Meat Tenderizer, Stove Lid Lifter, Trivet, Candle Holder and Bottle Opener all in one tool.

So I actually has 5 uses, not just 3.

BTW - I had no idea what a trivet is so I asked. she said a hook to hook onto bars of a grate for hanging a pot over a fire for cooking.
BINGO! Woot!
I lost my internet connection up to just an hour ago or so. That's why I disappeared and stopped with the hints. My DH's grandma had one years ago at their house. I don't know who has it these days after they passed. But I saw a photo of one and posted it here for fun & games. I think back in the day, she used to hang a cast iron clothes iron press to be heated. When we saw it, it was tied to the iron being used as a door stop. I guess they were keeping them together as a set.
It was patented in 1881 as the "Universal Tool".

I'm glad somebody guessed it. Sorry about my absence..

Name this tool.
Hint: he is human/not scared of varmints/on call for a damsel in distress (most of the time). Manufactured back in the early sixties.
