DH is stopping to get feed on his way home too. I'm mostly feeding the goats hay at the moment anyway. We have to move the hoop house and check out the hay in there this weekend. Hopefully it's alright. Opened another bale in the barn yesterday and it was ok. So we'll see...

Tomorrow we have to go shopping for DD1's birthday. DH would rather stay home and play on the tractor, lol!

Didn't even look at hay today, oops. Lol. We went shopping, DH sold a project truck he'll never get around to fixing (yay!) And did some yard work and house cleaning. Winter prep is cruising along. need another couple weeks of no snow though!

We have one (or two?) of those too. Being married to a mechanic.... ugh! He just doesn't have time for all his projects. He's considering selling his old sawmill too. We'll probably never get around to using it, as much as he would love to .

Going to be cold tomorrow, highs in the 30's! I can clean the house while DH works outside. Sounds good to me.

Highs in the 30's? That's crazy - it's not winter yet! Temps like that would be dead of winter for us.

My project tractor is an old Ford that we bought with the house... I think it's a 1949 model...or maybe a 1950ish something. I just know that it's older than me. It used to run, lol. I used it a lot "back in the day." In fact, it ran until we parked it and got a new tractor. It wouldn't be hard to get running but we're never going to do it so I hope it can go to someone who could fix 'er up. I'd probably come really close to giving it away. Sometimes you just gotta let it go....

Well I'm glad I don't live closer to you because I'd soon be the proud owner of a 40's (or 50's) tractor lol!! DH can't pass up deals. I think he's finally learning to, a little at least.

He's been talking to his dad about how we need a new place, and his dad keeps hinting about how DH's brother has a nice place he wants to sell... Yeah. .. on 1.5 acres in a town with zoning and neighbors on top of each other. I don't think they remember who we are? Kinda not what we're looking for. We'll see where he gets talking to them this week!

If it looked that good I'd sure be trying to get some money for it! I need to put it on Craigslist...could probably get a few bucks. But, they're fairly common around here so it's not like collectors are clamoring for 'em.... :(

Maybe I can con(vince) my son that he needs it.

So cold today, DH is working outside. I'm cleaning inside. I went out with him to do chores and ew, I came right back in!
